Gematria how to read

it

gematria is an ancient numerology system that has been used for thousands of years to study the sacredness of words and phrases. It's a powerful tool that can help uncover hidden meanings in texts and unlock deeper spiritual truths. In this article, we'll take a closer look at gematria and how to read it.

Gematria is based on the idea that each letter in the alphabet has numerical meaning, which can be used to gain insight into words and phrases. For example, the Hebrew word אנציקלופדי (enziklopedi) translates to "encyclopedia" and adds up to 890 (1+50+90+700). This number can then be broken down further into its components, such as 8 + 90 = 98, which can represent "wisdom" or "discernment" in religious circles. By looking at numbers found within words, one can gain further knowledge about their true meaning.

To get started reading gematria, you will first need a gematria chart. Gematria charts are available online for both Hebrew and English texts, though some tend to focus more on either one language or the other. Once you have your chart, you can look up any Hebrew or English word to find its numerical value by comparing its letters to their numerical counterparts on the chart. For example, if we look up the Hebrew word "אברהם" (Abraham), we can see that it has a numerical value of 248 (1+2+80+5+60).

Once you have the numerical values of words or phrases you want to study, there are some additional ways that you can use gematria for further analysis. One popular method is called "gematria coding." With this technique, one looks at two different words with similar numerical values and tries to find a deeper relationship between them. For instance, using our Abraham example above with a gematria value of 248, we could try looking up another Hebrew word with a similar value like "הבראה" (creation) which has a numerical value of 252 (5+40+200). We could then see if there's any special connection between Abraham and creation by looking at each word in greater detail.

Finally, gematria also has practical applications beyond simply personal meditation or spiritual growth; it has been used in everyday life too! Gematria calculators often have features such as bank account validation verification codes where they can ensure an individual account number corresponds with its authorizing institution before being released for use.
